We interrupt this World Cup frenzy to bring you two pieces of writing. The first is my usual Tuesday 5×500 poem, this one about hoping a poem means something to someone. The second is this month’s “Culling The Classics” column for LitReactor, on Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Three Stories.

She said, “I think I remember the film, and as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it.”
I like this interruption! And I love this scene.
It’s the only part of the movie that’s better than the novella, Holly literally having breakfast at Tiffany’s.
